Rules
DETHRONE is a public paid-ranking leaderboard. There are no votes, judges, reviews, quality scores or secret boosts.
Money is the ranking algorithm.
Pay more. Rank higher. That's it.
How ranking works
Every eligible listing is ranked by its confirmed lifetime paid total. Nothing else affects position — no votes, likes, reviews, engagement, staff picks, or secret multipliers.
Taking #1
To claim #1 on the board you are viewing, your resulting lifetime total must be at least the current #1 plus $5.
Existing listings pay the difference
If your URL is already on DETHRONE, new confirmed payments add to your lifetime total. You only pay the additional amount, not your total again.
Ties favor whoever got there first
If two listings have exactly the same total, the one that first reached that total keeps the higher rank. There are no manual tie-breakers.
Global and category boards use the same money
Every listing appears on All / Global and exactly one category. A category does not make a dollar stronger or weaker. Category only decides who is in the room. Money still decides who stands highest.
If somebody pays first while you are checking out
There is no hold and no reservation. Your payment always counts toward your total; rank is determined when payment is confirmed and can change the moment someone pays more.
What you can list
A public product/company website, an eligible public profile or @handle, or a supported product page. The destination must be publicly reachable and must not be malware, a scam, or a deceptive redirect.
After you pay
Your payment is recorded, your total and rank are recomputed, and the board updates. Rank changes only after the payment provider confirms the payment.
No refunds
All sales are final. Money paid is money spent — no refunds for being outbid, changing your mind, or campaign performance.
